Hello. I'm Sara, the artist and metalsmith behind Erie Silver Metalsmithing. I've been making jewelry for 10 years or more; the beginnings were beading and wire wrapping big labradorites before I got the urge to pick up a torch and saw. A lot of trial and error in my tiny home studio and some online courses and books led me here. I still have a long way to go on my jewelry journey but I enjoy every moment of it!

Gems and metals give me constant inspiration, and I'm turning into an amateur rockhound and shoreline hunter. I live near Lake Huron and Lake Erie and can spend hours sifting through the rocks at Port Bruce looking for sea glass.

My dream is to make jewelry that is dearly loved and cherished by someone, and then passed on to someone that they love and cherish. I hope to make beautiful jewels that catch the eye and are a joy to wear everyday.
